Arakaki Kami Kashiten Shop

Shuri Station area

A long-established confectionery shop rooted in the Ryukyu court's own chefs, carrying on about 200 years of Ryukyu confectionery tradition. It keeps alive the royal-court methods behind treats like chinsuko and kunpen (a baked confection filled with peanut and sesame paste), offering a taste of "the origin of chinsuko" quite different from mass-produced versions.
