Shurijo Castle Park area
The official parking lot adjoining Shurijo Castle Park, on the first and second basement levels of the Suimuikan visitor center. It's the most convenient option for visiting the castle, but general parking is capped at up to 116 spaces (fewer when buses have reservations), and parking is limited to 3 hours. It tends to fill up during the opening period and holiday weekends — if full, consider nearby private lots or park-and-ride via the Yui Rail. Fees are fully waived on presentation of a disability certificate.
